What is Domiciliary Care?

Domiciliary care, or home care, provides vital support to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. It helps with daily tasks, personal care, and more physically demanding activities, enabling people to maintain their well-being and quality of life in a familiar setting.

Our care approach is fully personalised, centering on each client’s unique needs and preferences. From the very beginning, we take the time to understand their routines, likes, and specific requirements, ensuring that the care they receive is tailored to their wishes.

Care Supervisor Duties

As a Care Supervisor, you will play a key role in both delivering exceptional care and providing leadership to our care teams. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help maintain the highest standards of care while also contributing to the ongoing development of our services through office-based support.

This role requires travel between client locations in Chichester, Hayling Island, Emsworth, Bognor Regis, & Selsey, so a valid driving licence is essential. Unlike many organisations, we recognise your dedication by reimbursing both travel time and mileage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client reviews and risk assessments in line with current standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the care teams at CareYourWay Chichester.
  • Support the care department by following best practices, policies, procedures, and legislative requirements under the Manager’s direction.
  • Supervise care services and carry out spot-checks to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Maintain and enhance your skills through ongoing training and professional development.
  • Be on-call one weekend every three weeks, with occasional weekend evening coverage.
  • Oversee and support employees to ensure the efficient running of the service.
  • Promote and safeguard the well-being of those you support.
  • Step in to cover care visits when required.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact while advancing your career in care leadership.

Our Training Programme

Our team is committed to equipping you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed every day. Training is tailored to your personal goals, setting you up for a rewarding career in care. From day one, you'll gain a strong understanding of CareYourWay’s values and culture, along with both essential and optional training. We continue to support your growth by regularly reviewing your career aspirations and mapping out a clear development path.

With a personalised development plan aligned with your goals, you’ll have numerous opportunities for professional advancement. At CareYourWay, your feedback is invaluable—we actively welcome your ideas and frequently implement employee-led initiatives to enhance both the quality of care we provide and your experience within our team.
