My mother has been benefitting from CareYourWay for more than two years. Without them, it would have been impossible for our mother to live in our family home where she holds all her memories. The care provided to her has always been exceptional, putting her well-being above all else.
Both the company and the specific primary caregiver were terrific across the board. They listen to our concerns and also made frequent suggestions as to how care could be adjusted to fit our Mother's changing needs. We always felt 100% that there was excellent care and felt that our Mum was safe, and mentally engaged as far as her dementia allowed.
The care that my husband and the whole family received during the last 3 weeks of his life was exceptional. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We were supported in every way and we were able to be with my husband at all times it was a very valuable time which we will never forget. Thank you so much.
I am writing this to say a big Thank you from Shiela for making such a nice suprise for her birthday.
Sheila would like to thank you all for the lovely birthday card you have sent to her, for the amazing flowers and for her birthday chocolate cake. You made Sheila's day so bright and filled with lots of smiles.
I wish to thank CareYourWay for the care that was given to my late father. No words can truly express the level of support you gave to my dad and me during a difficult time. Knowing my dad was in the hands of such a professional and caring team of people was such a relief for me while I was at work. All the staff where very kind and caring. But a special mention to two particular carers who took dad's care to another level. Thank you all again from a very grateful daughter of your client.
I have received care for several years from a number of different providers, and never has the care I have received, felt more genuine or to such high standards. I have physical and mental health problems, and there is a word that comes to me again and again and that is warmth, no one else has demonstrated it so well in such practical ways, it allows me to feel safe, receiving personal care, talking about worries for the day ahead, being a stakeholder in planning my care, are just a few of the many ways they show warmth and such care. They are always looking for new ways to motivate and interact with myself and other clients. Most of my life I learnt not to trust, writing this through tears, I realise they have my trust.
Having encountered appalling 'caring' in my own town, I was not sure what to expect, but from the first, the CareYourWay staff were; friendly, courteous, caring, efficient, thoughtful, helpful and cooperative as individuals and in their teams.
I can't speak highly enough of the kindness they showed my father and me, being sensitive to the distance I had to travel to be there. I am so grateful to them for making up for the deficiencies elsewhere in the 'system' and for making Dad's last days comfortable, safe and happy. Bless you all.
I am a District Nurse working in Ashburton and Buckfast leigh. For many years our team has cared for a gentleman who died last week, His main carer in the last couple of year of his life was Andrea.
I just wanted to say that on behalf of all the nurses on the team, we would like to say to Andre that the care he gave this patient, John, was second to none. Not only was he thorough, conscientious and meticulous in his physical care, he was also gentle, kind, thoughtful and loving to John and family. Our input over the last months became minimal because we knew that we could trust A to keep J safe, well nourished and hydrated and his skin perfect.
He was always extremely clean and generally cared for to the highest standard.
Even though we only had the care of CareYourWay for a few months leading up to mum's death, it made it easier to care for her at home so she had a peaceful end. The help and support we received were second to none, and I really appreciate it. They treated Mum as if she was family that gave her dignity and peace at the end of her life.
We chose CareYourWay to provide a care package for my father to enable him to return home for the last weeks of his life. Having contacted several agencies I was impressed by the attitude of the first person I spoke to as they were interested in my father’s needs rather than how we were intending to pay for the care.
The carers were friendly, sympathetic and skilled; they appeared to be well trained and have the necessary expertise to assure my husband and myself of their understanding.
I was impressed that they took the time and trouble to get to know him as a person, his likes, dislikes and views. The carers also took time to support me. The quality of their practice ensured that his dignity was preserved up to the time of his death.
CareYourWay not only cared for my husband but for my wellbeing as my husband had very bad dementia. I would recommend them to anyone, the care and kindness they showed my husband and myself and I will never forget.
My father received help with his care from CareYourWay as he became increasingly poorly with prostate cancer over a two year period.
During this time the agency provided my father with excellent care and support adapting well to his changing needs and managing to provide a continuity of care with familiar carers (who dad became very fond of) despite a house move halfway through the care period. This allowed him to live as an independent as possible in Kingsbridge area he loved until he returned to spend the final 6 weeks of his life with his family in Herefordshire aided by carers from the local St Michaels Hospice.
Friendly, professional and understanding of my mother's needs.
The carer was so kind and not at all patronising towards my mother. I felt completely at ease leaving my mother in their care. There was a little mix up over the start time, however, the care provided more than made up for this. I would certainly use this company again if and when needed as I found my mother happy and healthy on my return.
Cannot fault the care given. Pre-visit to Mum in the care home, everything was discussed in a friendly and positive way. Care was arranged easily and the manager was brilliant in taking my calls and easing my worries as Mum was returning home after a very lengthy hospital stay.
We take immense pride in our tailored, excellent-quality home care services. Every detail of your care is entirely bespoke to your wants, needs and wishes.
