Stroke After Care

The physical and communication difficulties a stroke imposes can make the period of recovery and re-adjustment can be difficult to live with

Introduction

The physical and communication difficulties a stroke imposes can make the period of recovery and re-adjustment seem prolonged and frustrating for you and your loved ones.

At Care Your Way we offer care for people who need help when they leave the hospital, which enables them to adapt to life after a stroke and face the future with more confidence. Having our services either Live-in Care or Hourly Care Services we can provide you with peace of mind, support and companionship when you or your relative need it most.

Our carers offer a tailored one-to-one service, allowing the client to have helped where and when they need it while encouraging them to do as much as possible for themselves on the road to recovery and independence.

Who We Work With

Our aftercare services are tailored entirely around the requirements of the individual to suit your needs. With our services, either hourly care or live-in, individuals affected by such medical conditions can recover in surroundings they’re familiar with, and around pets, and loved ones. This can make the recuperation process quicker, as the home is also a pleasant environment in which to relearn skills or adapt to any physical limitations that might be present. We also work closely with:

  • District Nurses
  • Hospitals
  • GPs
  • Families
  • Physiotherapists
  • Other Health Care Professionals

We make sure that every aspect of your care is covered under one roof, giving you piece of mind that your always in controll.
