Wednesday, 10th June marked World Franchise Day, where CareYourWay is proud to join the British Franchise Association (BFA), the World Franchise Council, and the wider franchising community in celebrating World Franchising Day.

For us, this day represents far more than recognising a successful business model. It is an opportunity to celebrate the people, partnerships, and shared ambitions that make franchising such a powerful force for growth, innovation, and positive impact.

Across the UK, franchising enables individuals to build successful businesses whilst benefiting from proven systems, established support, and a network of like-minded people working towards a common goal. It creates opportunities for entrepreneurs to realise their ambitions whilst maintaining the consistency, quality, and values that clients and families rely upon.

From South Devon to a National Network

World Franchising Day also provides an opportunity for reflection.

Whilst our franchising journey officially began in 2021, the foundations of CareYourWay were established many years before. For more than 15 years, our family-run team in South Devon worked tirelessly to develop, refine, and strengthen a home care model centred around delivering exceptional outcomes for clients and their families.

Built upon the principles of CQC Outstanding-rated care, the model was shaped through real-life experience, continuous improvement, and an unwavering commitment to putting people first.

Franchising was never about growth for growth's sake.

It was about creating an opportunity to bring exceptional home care to more communities across the UK whilst empowering passionate individuals to build successful businesses of their own using a model that had already been proven to work.

Today, we are proud to have grown to 16 offices across the country, each one united by the same commitment to delivering person-centred care and helping us move closer to our vision of becoming the UK's leading provider of home care services.

Whilst much has changed since those early days in South Devon, our values remain exactly the same.

The success of any franchise network is never defined solely by the number of locations it operates.
