CareYourWay recently enjoyed a welcoming afternoon at the Wellhouse Health & Wellbeing Fair in Beech, near Alton, Hampshire, joining local residents and organisations for an event focused on community health, connection and wellbeing.
The fair created an open and friendly space for conversation, bringing together people who care deeply about supporting one another’s health and independence. It was a pleasure to meet so many members of the local community, share ideas and be part of an event that placed wellbeing at the centre of everything it set out to achieve.

A special moment during the afternoon was the ribbon cutting for the new Wellhouse space, which is now available for community hire. This new venue represents an exciting addition for Beech and the surrounding area, offering a flexible and accessible place for groups, activities and wellbeing-focused events to take place.
Seeing this space officially open was a positive reminder of how shared environments can strengthen local connections and support healthier, more engaged communities.
Throughout the event, the CareYourWay team spent time speaking with visitors about the support they provide to local clients and their families through their award-winning home care services. These conversations focused on how care is delivered in a way that supports independence at home, offers reassurance to loved ones, and adapts as needs change over time.
Alongside this, the team introduced visitors to CareYourWay’s digital health monitoring service, an initiative currently being rolled out across more CareYourWay offices. The service adds an extra layer of reassurance by allowing care teams to carry out simple health checks during visits, helping to identify potential concerns early and support timely follow-up with healthcare professionals.
At the fair, visitors were invited to take part in complimentary digital health checks, giving people the opportunity to experience the service first-hand and learn how this technology can support wellbeing and confidence from the comfort of home. The response sparked thoughtful conversations about prevention, peace of mind and the value of proactive support for both individuals and their families.

Events like the Wellhouse Health & Wellbeing Fair reflect CareYourWay’s commitment to supporting health and independence not only within people’s homes, but also within the wider community. By bringing services and information directly to local events, CareYourWay continues to find meaningful ways to connect, inform and support people where they are.
CareYourWay would like to thank everyone who stopped by to say hello, as well as the organisers for hosting such a welcoming and well-run event. Days like this are a reminder of the importance of community, conversation and care — and why this work continues to matter.
