CareYourWay Chichester is dedicated to transforming lives through outstanding care, one home, one family, and one person at a time. Last Friday, their team extended this mission beyond care at home by proudly hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning at Bracklesham Barn. The event united the local community in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to many hearts.
The morning welcomed a fantastic mix of people, including clients, families, friends, and members of the wider community, all coming together to raise vital funds for those affected by cancer. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and generosity, as guests enjoyed tea, conversation, and a truly irresistible selection of cakes.
A particular highlight was the stunning array of homemade bakes, lovingly prepared by CareYourWay’s own Grace. From a classic Victoria Sandwich to beautifully decorated cupcakes, her creations wowed everyone, making the event as much a feast for the eyes as it was for the taste buds.
Throughout the morning, there was plenty of laughter, heartfelt conversations, and a strong sense of solidarity. Contributions large and small reflected the kindness of the community, with every donation helping Macmillan to continue its vital work supporting those living with cancer.

Reflecting on the event, Gemma Chambers, Registered Manager at CareYourWay Chichester, said:
It was truly uplifting to see so many familiar and new faces come together to support such a meaningful cause. Events like this remind us of the strength and kindness within our community. We’re so proud to have been part of something that not only raised money, but brought people together in such a positive way.
Thanks to the generosity of attendees and the commitment of the CareYourWay team, the Macmillan Coffee Morning was a resounding success. It was a beautiful example of how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. CareYourWay Chichester extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed and helped make the morning so special. Together, we are helping to ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
