CareYourWay Chichester recently partnered with Newtown House Hotel to host a wonderful community cream tea event on Hayling Island. Set within the elegant, historic surroundings of the hotel, guests enjoyed a relaxed afternoon filled with music, conversation, and homemade treats.
Charlotte from Songs Gone By Ltd performed live, her nostalgic setlist of well-loved classics setting the tone for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Her beautiful voice and personal charm created a sense of togetherness that was felt across the room
As attendees enjoyed scones with jam and clotted cream, the CareYourWay team were on hand to talk with guests and share more about the support available for individuals and families in the area. With a friendly and approachable presence, the team answered questions and listened to stories — a true reflection of the company’s commitment to person-centred care.
Gemma Chambers, Registered Manager at CareYourWay Chichester, reflected on the day:
“It was a real pleasure to be part of such a lovely afternoon. Connecting with the community in this way is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.”
A heartfelt thank you goes to Sarah Henderson, Events and Marketing Manager at Newtown House Hotel, whose care and coordination made the event such a success. Her attention to every detail ensured a warm welcome and smooth experience for all who attended.
This event highlights how meaningful partnerships can make a real difference — creating spaces where connection, conversation, and care come together. CareYourWay is proud to continue building those relationships across the communities it serves.
