CareYourWay Launches in Wilmslow to Bring Award-Winning Home Care to Local Families

Rajiv Kumar and Neelima Pawar launch CareYourWay Wilmslow, bringing award-winning, family-focused home care and community support to Wilmslow, Altrincham and Wythenshawe.

Bringing Care That Feels Like Family to Wilmslow

A new family-run home care provider in Wilmslow has officially opened its doors, bringing CareYourWay’s award-winning, relationship-led approach to families across Wilmslow, Altrincham, Wythenshawe and the surrounding communities.

CareYourWay Wilmslow marked its official arrival on Wednesday 9th September with a community launch event at Alderley Edge Methodist Church, welcoming local residents, community organisations and civic guests, including the Mayor of Wilmslow.

Behind the new service are Rajiv Kumar and Neelima Pawar, working alongside Registered Manager Nadeeka Jayasinghe and a growing team of care professionals providing personalised support for local families.

From Personal Purpose to Supporting Local Families

For Rajiv and Neelima, bringing CareYourWay to Wilmslow is rooted in deeply personal experiences of caring for and losing people they love.

Rajiv experienced the loss of his father following complications from open-heart surgery, giving him a first-hand understanding of the impact difficult periods of health can have on an entire family.

Neelima’s father lived with Motor Neurone Disease for seven years, during a time when little professional support was available. Years later, she took a career break to care for her mother through the final stages of cancer.

Together, those experiences shaped their ambition to create a home care service in Wilmslow built around compassion, trust and genuine understanding.

Rajiv says:

I've lived through what it means to lose someone without the right support in place. Every family we care for at CareYourWay Wilmslow matters to us as much as our own; that's a promise we don't take lightly.

Their ambition is simple: to build a service local families can genuinely depend upon, combining high professional standards with the warmth, familiarity and personal relationships that sit at the heart of exceptional care.

A Launch Centred on Care and Community

The official launch at Alderley Edge Methodist Church reflected exactly what the team hopes CareYourWay Wilmslow will become: an active and meaningful part of its local community.

Family, friends and local residents joined the team alongside the Mayor of Wilmslow and fellow CareYourWay franchise partners Jennifer Jenkins and Dave Jenkins from CareYourWay Macclesfield.

Guests heard from Rajiv, Neelima and the Wilmslow team, alongside Michelle Hoare from CareYourWay Head Office and the Mayor of Wilmslow, as they shared their ambitions for the service and the importance of high-quality, community-led care.

Representatives from Cheshire Police, Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service and Age UK also attended, while a raffle in aid of Dementia UK brought a charitable focus to the celebrations.

For the team, the event represented more than the opening of a new business. It marked the beginning of the relationships with local families, professionals and community organisations that they hope will define the service for years to come.

Joining an Award-Winning Home Care Group

CareYourWay was founded in 2005 by husband-and-wife team Manuel and Sarah Sabater following their own family’s experience of care.

After experiencing poor standards of care when Sarah’s father was diagnosed with terminal cancer, the couple set out to create a different kind of home care service. Shortly afterwards, Sarah’s mother was diagnosed with dementia and remained at home for a further nine years, supported by her family.

Those experiences became the foundation of CareYourWay’s “family caring for yours” philosophy and continue to shape the organisation today.

CareYourWay has since grown into an award-winning national home care group, recognised by Homecare.co.uk as one of the Top 20 Home Care Groups in the UK and currently ranked as the number one large private home care group in the country.

Its approach centres on understanding the person behind the care, from their routines and relationships to their preferences and ambitions, helping people remain independent and continue living life on their terms.

For Rajiv and Neelima, those family values closely reflect the kind of service they wanted to build: personalised home care delivered with dignity, warmth and genuine compassion.

Supporting Families Across Wilmslow, Altrincham and Wythenshawe

CareYourWay Wilmslow will provide personalised home care across Wilmslow, Altrincham and Wythenshawe for adults aged 18 and over.

Services range from companionship, personal care and support with everyday living through to specialist dementia care and end-of-life care, with every package shaped around the individual’s circumstances, routines and preferences.

The team will also work closely with neighbouring CareYourWay offices, including CareYourWay Macclesfield, Knutsford & Buxton and CareYourWay Stockport, sharing knowledge and experience while remaining firmly rooted within the communities they each support.

As the Wilmslow service grows, Rajiv, Neelima and Nadeeka intend to build a strong local care workforce and lasting relationships with families, healthcare professionals and community organisations.

Neelima shares:

I know what it feels like to care for someone you love without enough support around you. Being part of CareYourWay means our family gets to stand beside yours, so you never have to feel that alone.

With its doors now officially open, CareYourWay Wilmslow begins its journey with a clear purpose: to bring nationally recognised, award-winning home care to families across Wilmslow, Altrincham and Wythenshawe, while never losing sight of the individual at the heart of every visit.
