CareYourWay Stockport was launched in 2023 with the aim of providing outstanding-quality care within the local surroundings of Stockport. With a close-to-home story fuelling the passion for delivering excellence in care at home, the team at Stockport are continually striving to provide a personalised, outcome-based, high-quality care service, where clients and their families are embraced into the CareYourWay community, and the excellence it represents.
Meet the Team
Mike Lee
Director/Nominated IndividualMike Lee, Director of CareYourWay Stockport, is dedicated to providing outstanding care services. With a passion ignited by his father's homecare journey, he aims to redefine industry standards.
Mike prioritises individual needs, offering personalised attention, respect, and dignity to every client. CareYourWay Stockport goes beyond physical care, providing emotional support and companionship. Through continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence, Mike ensures exceptional standards are upheld.
By fostering a team of compassionate carers who share his vision, he makes a positive difference in clients' lives.
Mike Lee says:
Although IT has been the core of my career, care and helping society has been my passion. Through working with charities, such as MIND and St. John’s Ambulance, to caring for my elderly father, I have been able to use my network and my own time to try and make a difference in the lives of the people who I care about and the lives of strangers. Through CareYourWay, this is the natural path I could take to continue making a difference and provide something back to society.
Sammi Zhang
General ManagerSammi Zhang, the General Manager for CareYourWay Stockport, is a compassionate and dedicated caregiver. Her personal experience caring for her own autisic children and elderly family members has driven her to recognise the importance of compassionate and personalised care.
Sammi’s innate desire to make a positive impact on people's lives led her to help establish CareYourWay Stockport. Sammi leads a team of dedicated individuals who value collaboration and strive to provide exceptional care and support tailored to each client's needs. Building meaningful relationships with clients and their families, they prioritise comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
As the General Manager, Sammi’s leadership ensures that CareYourWay Stockport continues to deliver outstanding care while fostering a warm and nurturing environment. Her commitment to empathy, understanding, and making a difference underscores the significance of her role in the lives of those who need it the most.
Sammi Zhang says:
Growing up in a large family environment, I have always understood that caring for others is in my nature and has been a mission of mine. Now, as a mother, taking care of two children with autism has built my character and developed my caring to new heights. This experience has inspired my passion and drive to join the home care industry. I believe that providing in-home care services can create a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals and others with special needs. I joined CareYourWay to give me the best possible chance to provide high-quality, personalised care, and I believe we can make a positive impact and empower individuals to live their best lives at home.
Nicola McKay
Registered ManagerNicola brings over two decades of dedicated service in adult social care, backed by a QCF level 5 qualification. Her focus is on delivering exceptional person-centered care, empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives at home. Through strong partnerships with local professionals, she ensures tailored comprehensive care for each client.
Specializing primarily in adult learning disabilities, Nicola holds invaluable expertise in addressing challenging behaviors and complex needs. Transitioning seamlessly to community care, she maintains a steadfast commitment to excellence, prioritizing collaboration for client independence.
Joining Careyourway reflects Nicola's recognition of its professionalism and shared values, including fair compensation and caring for team members. Partnering with Mike, she finds alignment in values, driving her passion for positive care provision.
Outside work, Nicola prioritizes her supportive family, enjoying quality time with her children through outings and meals.

Each day, I strive to make a difference, even if it's just for one person, because I believe in the power of small acts of kindness to create a ripple effect of positive change. My passion for caring and supporting those around me fuels my drive to make the world a better place. As my values align with CareYourWay’s, I can put my passion into reality and deliver high-quality care to the people who need it most. My wish is to turn a scary process into a more achievable and less daunting journey. Nothing brings me more happiness than knowing I've touched someone's life in a meaningful way. Together, we can make a significant impact, one day at a time.
