Local Spotlight: Rachel Tarrant Joins Wey Valley Radio at Medstead Summer Fête

Rachel Tarrant shares how CareYourWay’s personalised approach is supporting local families in Alton, Farnham & Farnborough, live with Wey Valley Radio.

Rachel Tarrant, Director and Registered Manager of CareYourWay Alton, Farnham & Farnborough, recently appeared on Wey Valley Radio during the Medstead Summer Fête to talk about the importance of truly personalised, compassionate care.

The invitation came after Rachel met a member of the radio team while enjoying the day’s festivities and chatting with local residents. She was delighted to be asked to speak on air, representing her team and the difference they’re making across the local area.

Rachel shared:

It was such a lovely day. There was a real sense of community spirit, and I was honoured to be invited to speak. It was a wonderful opportunity to share what we’re doing and how we can support families across Alton, Farnham and Farnborough.

Celebrating Bespoke, Award-Winning Home Care

During the interview, Rachel proudly spoke about CareYourWay’s award-winning services and the deeply personal approach they take. As a family-run care provider, led alongside her mum and dad, Rachel believes in delivering care that reflects each person’s individuality.

Our care is never standard or generic. Every person we support is different, so their care should be too. We take time to understand what matters most to each person, from small daily routines to long-term goals, and we work with families to deliver care that feels right for them.

A Supportive Local Presence

Families are warmly welcomed to visit the CareYourWay office in Four Marks, where Rachel and her team are always happy to offer support and guidance. Whether you’re looking into care for yourself or a loved one, the team understands that reaching out can feel daunting. That’s why they focus on creating a warm, understanding environment where people feel listened to and reassured.

From 30-minute companionship visits to 24-hour live-in care, including complex and palliative support, the team offers a wide range of services designed to help people live well and safely at home. Every care plan is bespoke, and every visit is delivered with kindness, respect and dignity.

Well Done, Rachel!

A heartfelt congratulations to Rachel for her fantastic interview and for continuing to be a passionate voice for person-centred care in the community. Her commitment to helping people live independently, with the right support in place, is at the heart of everything CareYourWay stands for.
