A Heartfelt Afternoon in Bury

Just two weeks after their Grand Opening, the team at CareYourWay Bury & Rochdale have already made a meaningful impact in their local community. On Thursday 15th May 2025, the team hosted a heartfelt bake sale at their new office in Imperial House in Hornby Street raising vital funds for Bury Hospice, a charity close to their hearts.

Following the success of their launch event on 1st May, which included a charity raffle supported by local businesses and community members, the bake sale marked the next step in the team’s commitment to giving back. The office was filled with the delightful aroma of home-baked cakes, cupcakes, and treats, all lovingly prepared and donated for the occasion.

Local Support and Sweet Treats

The day saw members of the local community, families, and professionals alike drop in to show their support. Visitors enjoyed the opportunity to meet the CareYourWay team, learn more about their services, and, of course, indulge in a slice of something sweet — all while raising money for a deeply valued cause.

Staff members in the local offices also played their part, purchasing cakes, making donations, and spreading the word with enthusiasm. The atmosphere was one of warmth and generosity, with smiles shared over cups of tea and stories exchanged between neighbours, carers, and visitors.

Supporting Bury Hospice

Bury Hospice is a local charity providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care to people living with life-limiting illnesses. Their services are a lifeline to families across the borough, offering comfort, dignity, and compassion at a time when it matters most.

Raising funds for such a cause was a deeply personal choice for the CareYourWay Bury & Rochdale team. Both Shabana and Simra, who lead the franchise with dedication and care, were moved by the support shown.

A current total of an incredible £430 has been raised so far across both events, with more fundraising on the way for the Bury Hospice!
