The CareYourWay North Manchester and Salford team understands that taking care of the heart is one of the most important steps toward overall well-being. That’s why, during Loving Your Heart Week as part of Heart Month, they partnered with Salford Heart Care to raise awareness and encourage heart-healthy habits.
Throughout the week of February 10th, the team joined Salford Heart Care’s coffee mornings, bringing balloons, smiles, and meaningful conversations about heart health. Attendees were encouraged to wear something red in support of the cause, and the response was incredible! From vibrant red jumpers to heart-themed accessories, the room was a sea of color—showing that raising awareness can be both impactful and fun.
Of course, no coffee morning would be complete without a little indulgence, and the team brought along some delicious cake—because while healthy eating is key, balance is just as important! Judging by the empty plates, guests wholeheartedly agreed.
More than just an event, the week served as a reminder that small, everyday choices—whether through exercise, healthy eating, or staying socially connected—play a crucial role in heart health. Looking after the heart isn’t just about diet; it’s about reducing stress, staying active, and making time for the people and activities that bring joy.
To top it all off, the event raised £80, which has been donated to Salford Heart Care to support their vital work in helping people live healthier, happier lives.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, dressed in red, and took a moment to focus on their heart health!
