A Surprise for the Community

At CareYourWay Leeds, Easter wasn't just another holiday—it was a chance to spread joy and warmth throughout their beloved community. With hearts full of compassion and a drive to make a difference, their team embarked on a special mission to bring smiles to those who needed them most.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of their community, they were able to raise over £300, enabling the creation of 22 delightful Easter hampers! Each hamper was carefully crafted with love and filled with goodies to brighten the day of those nominated by local Community Recovery Hubs, Hospitals, and Charities.

The journey began with visits to places like Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust: St James University Hospital and Leeds General Infirmary. The team was overwhelmed by the warmth and appreciation shown by both the recipients and the hardworking hospital staff. As a token of our gratitude, they also distributed buckets of chocolates to the dedicated healthcare workers who tirelessly care for the community.

The contents of the hampers were chosen with care, ranging from cozy mugs to adorable stuffed bunnies, vibrant daffodils, and an array of sweet and savory treats. Each item was selected to bring comfort and joy to those receiving them, serving as a reminder that they are loved and cherished by their community.
