To us, our community is everything. We are humbled to work within such an incredible area, where local business owners and individuals help to build such an excellent community.
At Hertfordshire, we truly believe in setting the standard of quality care and providing an exceptional service for those at home. We believe that individuals should be empowered to live their best quality of life, with families reassured that their loved one is receiving the highest standard possible.
In 2022, Sobia Farooq and her husband, Shahid Shoeb, embarked on a remarkable journey by founding CareYourWay Hertfordshire. With three wonderful children and a deep-rooted experience of caring for their grandparents within an extended family, Sobia felt inspired to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her. Drawing from her extensive background in nursing, she had always known that her true calling was to help others.
With over 10 years of nursing and care experience within her field, Sobia has had a life-long commitment to providing the highest standard of service in care. Dedicated to providing an outstanding quality of life for those living at home, and empowering those within the local community, Sobia's passion, dedication and commitment to setting industry standards has informed the quality of service provided into the Hertfordshire & Harpenden area.
Recognising the importance of working with it's local community, Sobia's desire to work with local businesses to combat loneliness and isolation, whilst greatly improving local care standards, has set a precedent for care. In 2022, Sobia is launching events across Hertfordshire & Harpenden, focused on growing local inclusivity. As a key member within the Hertfordshire care community, Sobia aims to raise the bar within the national standards of outstanding care at home.
Sobia Farooq says:
I decided very early on that I wanted a career in Nursing. Once qualified, I worked in Cardiology before moving on to become a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse. From a young age, I realised that my purpose in life was to help people, and this was my vocation.
After 10 years of being a qualified nurse, I understand the values of compassion, courage, communication, competence, care and commitment. In my view, these are the most important values when providing care. With these values and my experience as a Nurse, I am confident that through CareYourWay Hertfordshire, I will be able to contribute to the delivery of outstanding home care.
After extensive research, we chose to join the CareYourWay community, as this allowed us to adopt and implement the brand ethos, which is second to none when it comes to achieving excellence and providing outstanding care.
