CareYourWay Chester is delighted to share some wonderful news following a recent inspection by the local council, which has resulted in the service being proudly rated Excellent.

This achievement recognises the consistently high standards of care provided to people across Chester and surrounding communities, and reflects the dedication, compassion and professionalism shown every day by the carers and wider support team.

Becky, Registered Manager and Director, shared her pride following the inspection:

Focus on Person-Centred Home Care

The inspection highlighted how the team works hard to ensure people feel safe, respected and supported in their own homes. Inspectors noted that care is carefully tailored around each individual, with strong understanding of personal routines, preferences and changing needs.

Rather than delivering task-based visits alone, carers were praised for taking time to build relationships and support people to maintain independence, confidence and choice in daily life. Support plans are reviewed regularly to ensure care remains appropriate as circumstances change.

Strong Relationships with Clients and Families

Inspectors commented on the positive and trusting relationships between carers and clients. People receiving care described staff as kind, patient and reliable, and said they felt listened to and valued.

Families also shared positive feedback about communication, responsiveness and continuity of care, noting how reassuring it is to see familiar carers who understand their loved one’s needs. This consistency helps people feel comfortable and confident in their own homes.

Leadership That Supports Quality and Development

For CareYourWay Chester, this rating reflects the trust placed in the team by local families, healthcare professionals and community partners. The service works closely with GPs, hospitals, therapists and social services to ensure care is well coordinated and responsive.
